Location: Astana, Kazakhstan
Our client is a reputable advisory boutique in Kazakhstan, serving some of the most prominent local and international clients in M&A and portfolio company management.
Responsibilities:
Participate in M&A and Debt Advisory transactions from inception to completion, including buy-side, sell-side, joint ventures, venture capital, and private equity investments.
Develop and assess financial models.
Conduct business valuations, financial analyses, comparable analysis, and benchmarking.
Prepare presentations, teasers, information memoranda, and analytical reports for clients.
Conduct market analysis, strategy development, and competitive analysis.
Engage in negotiations and client interactions at all stages of the deal.
Collaborate with the Investment Director and partners to achieve strategic goals.
Requirements:
Higher education in finance or economics from a top-tier university; CFA certification is a plus.
1-4 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, and valuation within investment banks, in-house M&A teams, private equity or venture capital firms, or Big 4.
Proven expertise in financial modeling and business valuation.
Strong technical skills in financial modeling and business assessment (proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, financial databases).
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines.
Fluency in English and Russian is essential; knowledge of Kazakh is advantageous.
International experience is a plus.
Location and Compensation:
Full-time position based in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Competitive compensation package: fixed salary plus bonus.
Reporting directly to the Investment Director and partners.
