Xploration Capital is looking for an experienced Investment Analyst/ Associate to join its Moscow office. This is an exciting opportunity with a dynamic and growing team within a fast paced and multi-cultural environment. This position is an important part of deal teams, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
An ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant work experience in an M&A analyst role, preferably in a VC/PE fund, investment bank, M&A advisory boutique or a Big 4 audit company. As an Analyst/ Associateyou will primarily be involved in assisting senior members of the team in management of existing portfolio of investments, origination of investment opportunities and deal execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are must, and so is the ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff, and external partners. The role requires fluency in both English and Russian.
Role and principal responsibilities:
•Oversight of portfolio companies
•Active participation in turnaround and transformation programs of portfolio companies
•Investment research, industry and competitive analysis
•Financial analysis, business valuation
•Business due diligence
•Assistance in structuring andexecution of transactions
Key qualifications:
•Excellent knowledge of accounting and corporate finance
•Advanced financial modelling skills
•Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
•Advanced Power Point, Excel and Word skills
•Ability to deliver high quality work on tight deadlines
•Fluency in English and Russian, both written and verbal
