VTB Capital is searching for a highly motivated analyst to join Equity Research Department, Metals and Mining Team, top-ranked in last several years to cover commodities. Successful candidate will work with Senior Analyst in the sector, delivering research products to our clients.
Primary responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
− Conducting analysis of the M&M industry to generate and support the team's investment ideas
− Construction and maintenance of industry models and databases
− Contribution to delivering of periodical and ad hoc research products
− Analysing large information flows, monitoring key industry trends and companies’ strategies
− Assisting internal and external clients on day-to-day requests
Key Competencies & Qualifications
− More than 1 year of experience in research/corporate finance/strategy consulting with basic knowledge of the M&M industry
− A degree in Finance/Economics or Geology/Geophysics with basic knowledge of finance
− Strong modelling and analytical skills
− Fluency in English is a must
− Accuracy, diligence and attention to details
− Collaborative skills and team work
− Ability to work under pressure
− Knowledge of Python/SQL is preferable
